Hyundai Kona Electric Vehicle 2019 Real EV with Great Acceleration || Krrish Tutorial ||

Globally, the Kona is offered in two powertrain options: A 100kW (136PS) motor with a 39kWh battery pack and a 150kW (204PS) motor with a 64kWh battery pack. However, in India, the electric compact SUV will be offered with the less powerful 100kW motor which can cover around 452km per charge, according to ARAI test cycles.

Kona Electric Charging: The 50kW fast charger can charge the battery from 0-80 per cent in 57 minutes. The 7.2kW AC wall-box charger for home installation takes around 6 hours 10 minutes for a full charge. There is also a small, portable 2.8kW charger that can be plugged into a regular wall socket that would take around 19 hours for a full charge.

Driving modes: This EV uses a single-speed transmission and driving characteristics can be toggled via these modes – Eco, Eco+, Comfort and Sport. There are paddles behind the steering wheel to control the level of regenerative braking too.

Safety: Hyundai has equipped the Kona Electric with six airbags, vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, hill assist control, disc brakes on all four wheels, ISOFIX child seat anchorage and a rear camera too. It also has a virtual engine sound system to warn pedestrians of the silent EV and a tyre pressure monitoring system too.

Interior: The Kona EV is a 5-seater SUV with a black interior and leather upholstery, headrests for all rear occupants, front central armrest with storage and 60:40 split folding rear seat.

Exterior: It gets LED bi-functional headlamps, LED DRLs, LED taillamps, roof rails, roof spoiler and 17-inch alloys.

Features: It is expectedly well equipped, given the pricing of this electric SUV. The Kona Electric comes with a sunroof, auto AC, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents and cruise control. It even gets a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support.

Infotainment: The Kona Electric uses a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. It also has a 7-inch digital instrument cluster for various types of information.
